Corned Beef and
deppler’s baby swiss on rye
ingredients
- 1/2 lb corned beef 
- 1/2 lb Deppler’s Baby Swiss 
- 12 slices of rye bread 
- 1/2 cup thousand island dressing 
- 1/4 cup salted butter 
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder 
- 1/4 tsp onion powder 
- Cooking spray 
Recipe
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 13x9 baking dish with cooking spray. 
- Slice your Deppler’s Baby Swiss. 
- Line the baking dish with 6 slices of bread. Alternate placing slices of corned beef and cheese on each piece of bread. We used two slices of each per sandwich, but you can add more for a heartier meal. We recommend keeping the ratio of meat to cheese 1:1 for optimal flavor. 
- Drizzle with thousand island dressing and place the other 6 slices of rye on top. 
- Melt your butter in a small pot on the stove or in a small bowl in the microwave. Add the onion and garlic powders, then evenly brush the tops of the sandwiches with the butter mixture. 
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes. Carefully remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes. 
- Remove from the oven, slice, and enjoy!
